Plating improvement by product design change

If there is a stop hole(Upper picture) in the machined parts such as shafts and valves to be plated, it is difficult for the plating solution to distribute evenly and quality problems are likely to occur.

If it is possible, instead of stop holes to provide through holes(Bottom picture) or plating solution drain holes that allows plating solution to drain out could prevent quality problems caused by plating.
