Regarding the “knurled“ turned parts such as Shafts, Pins or Rollers, in some products require grinding as the pictures. If diameter A <= B (A is equal or smaller than B), then there are very limited option for grinding machines that could increase grinding costs and development cost for the special fixtures.
If diameter A > B (A is larger than B), then the most productive grinding method Centerless grinding can be applied without fabricating the special fixtures.
