Angled shape of bottom of the hole

Updated: Jun 1

When boring the hole on cylindrical shape machining products such as bolts, valves or pins, boring the hole as flat end at the bottom would increase costs due to necessity of more machining tools and increase machining time.

If shape of bottom of the hole can be angled as the picture below, it could reduce production costs by minimizing number of tools to be used and shorten machining cycle time.
